Description

CAMPOLIN is a rubber emulsion, acrylic copolymers type.

Fields of Application

As a product of 'in situ' application for the preparation of coatings based on waterproofing and flexible coat, both for repairing roofings and vertical surfaces.

Suitable to prevent humidity and water filtrations.

Non-traffic product, accessible occasionally.

As anticarbonation paint for concrete.

User Manual

PREPARATION OF SURFACE:

The surface must be as smooth as possible, without projections, hollows nor protruding elements and thoroughly clean and dry. In case of cracks or breacks it is necessary to fill them previously with JOINCAR mastic. The surface must be wetted before applying JOINCAR in order to improve the adherence.

APPLICATION

CAMPOLIN is applied by brush or roller; it is advisable a minimum of three coats, inserting a glass veil or similar reinforcement :

• One coat of CAMPOLIN (0,60-0,75 kg/sq m) and allow to dry.
• Apply a second coat of CAMPOLIN (0,60-0,75 kg/sq m) inserting a glass veil (50 g/sq m) and overlapping 8 cm; the overlap must be well impregnated without trapped air.
• Apply a third coat of CAMPOLIN (0,60-0,75 kg/sq m) when the previous coat is dry.

COVERAGE

Depends in great measure on the roughness of the surface : If the surface is smooth : three coats .................. 1,8 - 2,2 kg/sq m thickness of the film.......0,9 - 1,2 mm

REMARKS

CAMPOLIN should not be applied at temperatures lower than 5ºC nor when there is any risk of rainfall or frost whithin the first four hours after its application.

If a glossy finish is desired, once the coating is dry, one coat of BARNIZ CAMPOLIN (acrylic resin solution) is applied.

CAMPOLIN: 1 Kg, 5 Kg. y 25 Kg.
BARNIZ CAMPOLIN: 9 Kg. y 22 Kg.

Maximum period of storage: 1 year.

Conditions : CAMPOLIN must be stored in a fresh place and protected from frost.
